This is my game. 2 Delve 2 Deep (not a sequel).
It's a small game about a little owl with a big dream - to one day become the King Of Explorers.
Or, in mechanical terms - it's a procedural dungeon crawler about exploration, greed and pushing your luck.

Is it because he still has a connect that can hook you up with Smash?

What if you already love that guy?

(Totally a trap, BTW. I won’t stop there. Next it’ll be 900. Then a full bag. After that, who knows?)

Who is that handsome fellow with the moody headshot one wonders?

I am playing Hades II.
I really enjoyed the original and this one is... well, more. I'm only 17 hours in and haven't completed a run yet. I've reached the big bad (or, at least, one of them).
Mainlining the Axe for now.
And I <3 Frinos.

Needs more of a DPS spec?

Never get between a woman and wine. That stubborn piece of cardboard was asking for trouble.

Would have made a great Weatherwax, no?

Pics or it didn't happen

There's part of me that wants to ask 'why?' but also I stopped trying to figure out how your brain works a long time ago and generally I just go with it.
Cool man.

I feel that #AI is this generation's quick and dirty.
It'll produce something that looks like the finished article to the money folk insanely quickly. But, when you get down to it and actually need to make something usable and scalable for the long term, it falls over.

They see the shiny, golden-path-infused goodness and sign up. Then, when milestone 1 drops, get confused as that lovely, fully-realised game gets replaced by a bunch of cubes moving in a circle.
But this is what you had to do to get signed which differed wildly from actually building the thing.

These things would be made as quick and dirty as possible. The point being that, as soon as the money came in, you'd tear the whole thing down and rebuild it properly.
Some publishers were often surprised by this.

A tricky aspect of #gamedev was always the product demo. This would be a cut-down but shiny version of the project you'd use to convince a publisher to send money your way so you could actually build the entire game.
It's a sales pitch in game form.

Why did you feel the need to sign his crotch?

Best before date doesn’t even clear October. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.

Technically, I’m an adult. So I can do shit like this if I want and there’s nothing you can do to stop me.
bulkpaint.bsky.social
Spoiler alert - I DID pick it up. Also, I did not pay £90 for it. The chap seemed pleased it was going to a good home.

At a retro fair. I definitely shouldn’t pick this bad boy up, right?

If patriotism is a pride and love of ones country, what's the word when you're actually deeply embarassed by what your country is doing?
