it's because their own partners neglect them so they use their young & unassuming sons as a substitute (i.e. emotional inc*st). the sons become overly dependent on their welcoming mothers, so when a women enters the son's life, the mother views her as competition, and the son views her as a backup

you're right, we have so much more going on the world. people are being deceived and detained, rights are being ripped away from us, and MULTIPLE genocides are going on. forgive me if a robbery that is being looked into by police isn't the top of my list of priorities

just emailed one of the people that held the film screening on tuesday (banger btw) for an interview and i was like "not sure if you remember me but..." and why did she respond not even five minutes, saying, "hey! of course i remember you!" 🥹 my day is made, like i'm genuinely so happy
