This is the smartest post Ive seen thus far…this has already gotten out of control and the only ones benefiting are the ones who make the products and the software…the damage has been done even to some of us adults. Ppl were fighting to keep TikTok no matter the harm it causes. 🤷🏽‍♀️ There you have it.

Sooo if we’re talking kids all under the age of 18 you can’t be any wronger about “There’s only, like, 5 major social media platforms young ppl tend to use” statement. Video game apps are also social media platforms for kids…then you have private messaging apps that kids find through social media.

Thank you!! This has long been a problem social media has multiplied since FB, Twitter, Reddit & Tik Tok. There’s many more. They knew what they were doing…they knew to monetize it to keep ppl hooked.

Ppl were fighting to keep Tik Tok…sucked in by money no matter the harm.

Adults get into dangerous shit on social media…like it’s social media and it has effects on society not just children…I get the harms caused but parents don’t outweigh the stakeholders unfortunately…social media is a money grab still.

I heat you but there are too many to watch…you blame the parents I blame our greedy government. These things were never regulated with children safety in mind. Of all the kids who have killed themselves due to social media, our government should have done more to regulate it…GREED is why they didn’t
