My friends have been to @craftbeerchannel.bsky.social Beer & Love. Again, they loved it!

Without being northern stereotypes, they noticed a change in London beers in other, great pubs we’ve visited before - a lack of carbonation.

Is there a reason for this?

A beautiful throwback outside the centre of #Pécs, #Hungary, Művész Presszó fits the bill perfectly. An astonishing selection of interesting beers, shabby chic interiors and a suntrap outside area to watch the world go by.

Incredible beers in this subterranean craft brewpub in the back streets of Budapest. Gravity has some genuinely surprising styles - hello, Lichtenhainer - and it was such a welcoming, friendly place.

Out the back of Birmingham’s Moor Street station, hidden away from the Bullring, is the fantastic Kilder.

Great beers and style, plus some excellent snacks.

A great repurposing of the former Tetley brewery in Leeds as regeneration hits the area. Part museum but still a pub, it’s great to see Kirkstall revamp the Tetley.

Some incredible brews being poured in this subterranean beer haven. I’d not really crossed paths with Parabolic Lazarus before, but their taproom in #Budapest is a wonderful space with excellent beers.

An unassuming bar in #Brussels, La Fleur en Papier Dore is an icon. It’s relaxed and blends elegant touches with a laid-back atmosphere - and great beer.

Enjoying a Westvleteren 12 here was so good I forgot to take any good photos, so thanks to M&J.

A striking facade in the spacious surroundings of the sprawling exhibition centre hides quite a new microbrewery, #Kolkovna. With own-brewed beers on tap, the interior recalls a historic beer hall, with more than a touch of the hunting lodge about it.

Tantalisingly close to the legendary Zlateho Tygra, the relatively hidden U Kunstatu seems a world away. Very focused on upmarket craft offerings, it offers an impressive selection and a beautiful garden in which to enjoy them.

One of the biggest surprises of my beer travels in #Prague was Pivovar Bubenec.

Quite an unassuming but attractive corner pub in a quiet area is this spectacular craft brewpub. Some sensational brews are being thrown out here.

Built in 1850 as Prague’s second station, Stanice 6 is now a community space and bar with games, art and a terrace on which to watch the trains.

It also serves a good range of beers including from local breweries.

A grand old building at the northern end of Prague’s Castle district is U Černého Vola.

As traditional as you like, with expertly poured beers thrown out with a beautiful blend of care and disdain, this is the epitome of an old Czech pub.

Two monasteries in #Prague, both serving their incredible own beers.

#Břevnov Monastery is the oldest brewery in the #CzechRepublic and a great place to spend a sunny day.

#Strahov dates from the 17th century and provides a homely feel in grand surroundings.
