A while back on twitter I put together a thread of lots of tutorials that helped me as a novice when learning how to make optimized 3D assets in Blender for VRChat use so I went through and organized it all into a carrd for ease of access and so I can keep it organized in a better format.

Depends what it is for me. If it's something that's massively better by being made in the oven I'll do that: like crispy stuff, etc.

Just released my submission for VRChat's Spookality jam - Specter Spectare!
A kinda red light, green light type of game where a seeker is trying to capture all the hiders in their red glare as the hiders cross a big field with randomized obstacles!

I released on my GitHub a new shader : Frosted Glass.
The shader uses the scene's environment reflection (reflection probe) to fake transparency : The shader is actually fully opaque and doesn't use any grab pass.

I'm a big fan of tabletop games and this is such a good implementation of one in VR. I wish more people would make stuff like this, but I get that it's a pretty complicated thing to put together.

Yeah when I first started I played the game at 12fps on a 4gb AMD r9 290 and a 10 year old i7 4770k and it was hard to find places that my rig could even play. Some of the only places I could have fun were VR raves in the front row so I didn't have to see any avatars since they were behind me lol.

Version 2 Of Yoptimizer is Released!

I have Reduced the PolyCount by over 7K Tri's, so much room for activities!

I have also Fixed some minor Shading issues on the model.
