This is a good month to find M30 in Capricornus, the decent little globular cluster you failed to get during the Messier Marathon in March because you ran out of coffee, fell asleep, froze to death, or went looking for an all-night diner that has pancakes. 🔭

I should predict precisely when Betelgeuse will blow up. Then we gather and await the blessed event. If it doesn't happen I'll just re-predict. It's no worse offer than those made by apocalyptic preachers and the rapture, plus it could actually happen. Also there will be snacks and beverages. 🔭
