my kiddos friends mom, a nurse and shouldn't have called out a mobile mechanic a week ago and still be borrowing a truck. I'm going to deal my social anxiety and see how I can help. I have the tools, knowledge and connections with Kia to do anything to it.

Sorry, like I said just now genuinely interested. You hit the special interest. Now the brain must figure things out and go into service mode :) It was my favorite part of the job. Explaining and often showing the client how it all works, the exact cause etc... Sharing knowledge is more fun.

Like I said, special interest and a 60k replacement interval when I started in the industry lol Didsny replacements. The anxiety trigger of a brown seal on an idler pulley... "Those were recalled 4 years ago for seizing before 60k..."

Oh and minor point, but I think I'm Autistisplaining. You hit what was my main special interest that resulted in good employment for a long time 😉 I've heard and seen a lot. The timing belt idler pulleys are what make the noise. The belt eventually shreds and starts smacking the cover as it breaks.

I'm more curious what kind of racket a timing belt can make lol I worked in that world as an honest person. I enjoyed when people came in insisting they needed an expensive repair but I could send out relieved with knowledge cheaply. What was the car / noise? You piqued my curiosity here dammit! lol

suddenly start running on two cylinders? Then IIRC the left timing belt broke. If it's the other side it shuts down lol

Timing belt makes many metallic sounds at once. So much energy spun freely into many spinning metal pieces that make sparkly oil drain out. I wonder if I still have my "trophies"

Sure it was a timing belt? The tensioner will make a rattle / tick noise when it's going. A timing belt just breaks without warning (excluding the tensioner screaming for weeks prior to it seizing) So probably alternator unless it only did it on turns then it's power steering.

#herps Baby salamander from the dried up vernal pond. Brought 6 or so back to hopefully grow up. They were under a large rock at the lowest point where there was still a little moisture. Everywhere else was dry.

Broken record indeed. Still failing to redress grievances and provide accommodations to redress my grievances because the barriers are that bad. You could respond and fight these allegations. You could look at all the receipts already posted. Or we can do new ones.

Yet the barriers are still there. Notice "she" only posts news but never a reply to anyone? It's not her, just another third party company that is a huge hole in national security and automatically commits FCC 502 violations at $500 per day per violation for failures to redress grievances.

Thing is, I was ahead of it before Trump was shot in PA due to the exact communication policy barriers to access I had been reporting for years. She knew about the possibility of fraud before Deloitte was brought up on charges in TN and GA and knew damn well about Signalgate being possible as well.

They should be. But they don't do proactive they are reactive. She needs to get her ass in line and experience things herself. Her ongoing failures to redress grievances of barriers to access should put her out of job.

Wouldn't have had to try contacting the head of national security oversight if @murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov and @adamsmith.house.gov would come out from behind the same barriers instead of posting "news" we already know about and never once reading our replies or responding.

Damn right, especially people like @raskin.house.gov who hold or at least held a few years ago when I tried to talk about outdated communication policies.

But the same outdated communication policies are inherent in the system if the FCC doesn't know they're in charge and set communication policy.

Doing things my way is how I survived and thrived. But eventually I got an employer where that stopped working because his way was the only way and it was very wrong. Ford and Chevy trucks guy bought a multi franchise import dealer and expected it to profit the same way. That led to full diagnosis.

Our senses exist for a reason. We sense that which others don't. Vision for motion and colors, picking up sounds, smells and tastes. When those are triggered properly they are amazing tools.

But they can also be a jackhammer on a Saturday morning when on 24/7
