I’m looking at my Switch 2, Steam Deck, and PlayStation 5 and feel a sense of attachment
Here’s an article from The Gamer with Obsidian discussing development under Microsoft

Master Chiet dong better be in there or I’m blaming game journalism
In this case, a new Obsidian game is about to launch and it’s really good. At the same time, it’s a product funded by a company that’s increasingly done shady things in the spotlight.

The average consumer doesn’t like knowing how the sausage is made. But it’s the cost of business.
The job of a critic is to analyze and eloquently explain why they liked or hated a film or game. It may have started out being just about the product but it’s unsurprising evolved over the years to include a bigger picture.

Ball x Pit is easy to understand, tough to master, and includes some great RPG-like mechanics that give it depth and a very satisfying, challenging gameplay loop.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is a solid way to revisit a classic, even if some technical issues hamper the experience.

Art imitates life or something
Let me also clarify: separate the art from the artist. Judge based on what you played and not what Microsoft is doing.

Obsidian is one of the best studios owned by MS and you should fully support them and the games they develop.

At the same time, hold Microsoft accountable by discussing them.
I would watch 15 seasons of Infinity Train.
Goblin mode in October is apt. GO OFF
I mean, it’s pretty clear this creator is upset real life problems affecting Microsoft employees is mentioned in reviews of The Outer Worlds 2 —A game where you have to bust a union up and deal with megacorporations ruining eveything.

But go on, blame the reviewer for Microsoft’s failures.
We really need more Infinity Train seasons.

The OW2 is a culmination of much of what Obsidian has done, an RPG rich in interlinking systems. Ittakes the first game’s satirical edge on corporatism to an absurd degree - but that makes it hard to untangle this specific game from of Microsoft’s current actions. www.inverse.com/gaming/the-o...
'The Outer Worlds 2' Review: Possibly The Best RPG Yet From One Of The Masters Of The Genre
'The Outer Worlds 2' is a superb satirical sci-fi RPG that smartly uses the decades of experience Obsidian Entertainment has gathered crafting RPGs.

I benched so much weight last night that I burst blood vessels in my arm, and it was blue this morning.

Worth it.
It's honestly such a wonderful experience.
I rolled credits last night after a mad dash to the finish line. I'm going back for a second playthrough. The Outer Worlds 2 is @obsidian.net best game since Fallout: New Vegas.

Smartly written, satirical, and a blast to play through.

I've abandoned Chrome entirely, and Firefox might be next. You can't escape the AI trend, and I hate it. Using "search request" -ai nets the older styler search results
