the basic thesis of Legalization Nation is that cannabis users are innocent. But all the exploitative laws in this country: the overregulation, the high taxes, the blocking out of the working class, etc is ALL based on stigma suggesting that cannabis users are NOT innocent

when we were kids my dad owned a Hallmark Card store and my sister and I effectively recreated the music they played there (early 90s lite FM radio) and its so funny. and we played it for my dad and he got mad and was like “WE PLAYED GOOD MUSIC!!!”
