Yesterday, a snowboarder was seriously injured after falling ~100 feet on Skyscraper Glacier near Rollins Pass. Rescuers worked for hours and into the night in steep, icy terrain to reach, treat, and safely evacuate him to a hospital. Thanks to all agencies involved for their teamwork.
Deputies helped reunite Geo with his family after he wandered off. Reserve Deputy Airey found Geo, and gave him a lift to the Ned. Deputy Niss connected Geo with his people. Geo’s family said: Thanks for delivering our dog, Geo, to us safe and sound this past Saturday night! It was a huge relief.
