The lore says that his old philosophy professor Christine Korsgaard told him he was too stupid for philosophy and to do something else instead.
My lowbie recommendations:

1. President Sunday. Commentary, streams, video essays on political theory and philosophy. Example on urban planning and games: youtu.be/aCHjKs89lbU

2. Postcomprehension.

3. Recurrent Paradox. Egoism. Podcasts and shorter pieces.

Imho fighting for bodily and reproductive autonomy is the way to go and doesn't obsfuscate what is actually at stake. [Fin]
Also progressives have predictably started arguing for their favoured policies thru fertility which I believe is a distraction and an unforced mistake. Truth is that the policies that are acceptable to them have no major aggregate impact but speaking of them as if they do reinforces the frame. [3]
rhetorically splitting people into populations forever destined to fight a war with eachother, are-youths-having-sex obsessions, "porn rot gooning young men" not being fathers, all away from control over reproduction which is necessary for patriarchy as a system. [2]
I think fertility framing is obsfuscatory (which is why they use it) and it's a mistake to cede ground. It allows them to smoothly pivot between seemingly scientific discourse ("fertility rates" amd eugenicism), nationalism (borders and breeding soldiers against enemy nations), antiabortionism, [1]
Imo it's a superficial appropriation of the Marxist goal to abolish the working class and class society.
A prominent version of it is the old radfem view. Before patriarchy, there was no gender, but after the fall and with all the porn, women became oppressed. But after gender is abolished and there is no porn, once again there is no oppression and no patriarchy.
They want *control* over reproduction. Fertility is just a tool for that, it has no inherent value to them.
The clean code book was based on absolute lack of evidence tbh.

This is a common refrain in my #CMN425: Entertainment and Politics class. Exposure to political information in entertainment contexts might be all people get. It might be a doorway *into* politics rather than a distraction from “serious” political content.
worth applying to politics as well. when you're criticizing an action people take "taking the better action next time" is only one of the alternatives people will consider, and worth remembering that "not bothering at all" is another.
I think about this a lot.

Dynamic typing is actually a special case of static typing where there is only a single data type. Strings, integers, floats in Javascript are all different classes of the single, monstrously huge unitype. Static typing otherwise allows multiple types, which may have one or more classes each.
No, you also have IR liberals and constructivists like these, too.
Au contraire, it makes sense to cover the most generally recommended delivery method in-depth. Like Keynes said, if a thing is not worth doing, it's not worth doing well.
Heartbreaking: most errors occur after not consulting any horoscopes.
It is the most generally recommended method by *the guide itself*, which is not a scholarly contribution to the sociology of medicine but rather advice. The appropriate contrast of general recommendations is to special ones, which apply under special conditions.
UBI funded through a set level of LVT combined with open borders would be just about the wokest reform possible in effect. Add some taxes on global rents to fund a global UBI and now we're cooking.
Mason Gaffney's George’s Economics of Abundance is 15 pages of unbridled enthusiasm with enough detail to illustrate what it's supposed to look like:

Imo this is overstated—they'll make an exception without changing their worldviews. It's true on the margin though, which does matter.
I swear it was some orientalistic Silicon Valley libertarian who is now partying or sleeping with the fishes.

Oh that’s so crazy that kids love the thing that kids have loved for a hundred years.
After leaving HBO Max earlier this year, ‘Looney Tunes’ is a hit on Tubi, the company says, and popular across generations. It should be a model for every classic cartoons trapped in streaming limbo.

I think we all should have an ownership of our likeness in an age Meta could just use it to make profit. No-one should be subjected to being profited from or being humiliated, just think of the liberals holding diaper Trump balloons.
