I haven’t been able to draw nearly as much as I would like since life is kind of hell for me right now (not life or death obviously, just exaggerating). I want to get back into it since I’m coming up on a year since I started and am starting to learn some techniques I really like.

I really like slowly chipping away at a drawing. Like not feeling any pressure to finish it or anything just slowly working on it when I feel like it, even if it’s something really simple. It t makes it a lot more fun to me.

I tried to follow along to a video by Austin Batchelor and didn’t quite get it. So I covered up my mistakes with cool light and smoke effects and got this. The dragon design is not mine it’s his. The effects I added to salvage it kind of made a cool drawing so I thought I would share it.
