Hello Kate. Give recent (and not so recent) events with aggressive nation states, why not give customers the power to choose where they buy products from?

Make it mandatory for online retailers to list "country of origin", then we can make our own minds up. Currently, it rarely happens.

Champion. Seems to me that we wouldn't expect M&S/JLR, etc, to protect themselves against incoming ballistic missiles, so we should be prepared to provide a UK electronic shield as a top level of defence. Cyberessentials is nice, as were Nissen huts.

Essentially, it's warfare. If a foreign power is behind any of these frauds, maybe a generous chunk of our upcoming increase to defence spending should go towards cyber defences. Make UK a fortress.
