I'm okay with it. I don't think Claremont ever explained how she traveled through time. I like the idea that mutants may be predisposed to inherit their parent's powers, like Rachel, Cable, Siryn, and Polaris.

Seems a bit thin for Lar. Though I would love if that was a variant of Laurel Gand. That's giving Persuader vibes in the middle but could also be a fake out for Blok. Did we see evil Sun Boy yet? If that was actually the female Inferno that would be another great fake out.

Probably a lot of reasons. Anime characters follow certain color theories that dictate their personality. This also translates to super sentai as well. In 4 color comics, tan and gold seem to be very close with orange but orange requiring higher ratios so maybe something there?
