1. The violence would *not* be equal.

2. You would then be assaulting a federal officer and almost certainly go to jail.

3. In terms of winning over the broader public to oppose these assholes, it’s much more effective to expose them than it is to attack them.

But screaming “we are already in a fascist state” is completely demoralizing and counterproductive to such efforts. Fascists *need* to seem inevitable. It’s the last thing we need to be encouraging.
