I literally found out today that Ebikawa worked on mechanical design for Kiddy Grade, and the second I did so many things clicked into place

Gundam series with amazing suit designs and the OP teases incredible action scenes but the entire show is about diplomats and politicians arguing and you just get to hear the action while they watch it on screens between debates.

Also the next episode previews all show action that you never see.
