i struggle with a brain that wants to stiffly copy whatever reference i'm using and one thing i've found helpful:
1. draw big blocky shapes over the reference
2. turn off ref and redraw big blocky shapes
3. draw in figure with big blocky shapes overlaid

I know it is all semantics, but it’s interesting to hear how people define themselves. I’ve always seen myself as an illustrator, but I’m not making work for commercial use or mass production. Even my most popular prints I’ve only sold a few hundred of over the years.

You’re dehydrated. Drink more water and maybe tack on a liquid IV or a Sqwincher from the headless lounge

We’re at 4,400 ft. Elevation sneaks up on you.
