Yes, you're right 😞. Since 2007, I've been very shocked by the way certain demonstrations are treated, but nevertheless, if it happened in France, despite the risks, I'd go. I'm too attached to democracy, however imperfect it may be, to do nothing!

Is it? I'm not one for demonstrations, as I'm a rather moderate person by nature, but I'm so flabbergasted by what's happening in the US that even someone like me would already be on the streets.

Je suis dans la même situation, notamment depuis les législatives de juin dernier 😓. Mes proches ne cessent de me dire de prendre du recul, mais je n'y parviens pas complétement, tellement j'ai les sentiment de lire une de ces dystopies que j'aimais tant... avant d'en vivre une 😑
