I wish I could rec a fantasy crime thriller, magic war drama, artifact heist, or a [mythical animals]-racing fantasy-documentary (if Seabiscuit were a dragon IG), but no one bothered to since it was more economical, production AND writing-wise, to make the 'Non-Fantasy' versions of those. [3/3]

(incoming ramble) I think a big reason is that 'actual' fantasy usually asks for a significant investment that is just not conducive to movie runtimes, so elements end up light or simplified to its own detriment. [1/?]

now what I will say IS great about KoG/glitch productions is that they let their artists actually post their scenes and BTS processes to YT with commentary!!
