I’m here in my soybean field. Because of the tariff war this year, American farmers lost their soybean business to Argentina. And what do we do to help US farmers? We send Argentina $20 billion dollars. Why are we saving Argentina’s economy?
The government shutdown is impacting air traffic. Farmers are left behind. Museums are closing. We need real leadership in D.C. right now that will protect healthcare and end this shutdown.
I am grateful to see the return of the remaining hostages in Hamas custody. Today is a day of celebration. Their families will finally get some closure as their loved ones return. Now, let’s come together to work toward a lasting piece, one where the suffering of innocent Palestinians in Gaza ends.
We are 11 days into a government shutdown and right now farmers are struggling.

Meanwhile, Washington is threatening yet another trade war with China.

Enough with the chaos. Let’s elect leaders who will actually work for New York.
Agriculture is the number one industry in the North Country. Right now, it’s getting hit hard during the government shutdown. We cannot wait any longer. While Washington fights each other, we need leaders who will fight for us.
On this day, we remember the victims of the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Two years later, many hostages are still in Hamas’s hands. We owe it to them to continue fighting for their freedom and to ensure the world never forgets October 7, 2023.
Thank you Mike Zagrobelny, Tom DiNapoli, Ginger Storey-Welch, SLU College Dems and everyone else who participated in the St.Lawrence County Democratic Annual Fundraiser. It’s always a pleasure and an honor spending time with my local friends and neighbors.
Because of the government shutdown, thousands aren’t being paid and farmers are going bankrupt.

This is wrong—New Yorkers deserve so much better.
With the government shutdown entering its third day, the North Country continues to suffer. Extreme tariffs harm our farm workers, the shutdown has furloughed our federal employees, and soon, many benefits may lapse. It’s time to end the shutdown, end the tariffs, and deliver for New Yorkers.
Today is the end of the quarter, and while Elise Stefanik is too busy working to shutdown the government while running for Governor, I am ready to fight for the North Country. Chip in today, let’s take back New York’s 21st: secure.actblue.com/donate/gende...

Let's send a dairy farmer to Congress!

St. Lawrence County Farm Bureau hosted another great annual 'Day At The Farm' this past weekend. I enjoyed being a part of it. Lots of great questions from community members on the wagon ride through the dairy farm.
Thank you, John and Barb Spaeth, for your unbelievable hospitality.

You opened your doors to bring friends and neighbors together to discuss challenging issues and uplifting solutions. We appreciate your voices in this effort—let’s continue to spread our campaign message across North County!
We discussed the economy, job creation, and how we can lift rural communities across the district. The dialogue was fantastic!

A special thank you to Bill Doran and Ed for taking the time out of their schedules to organize this great event.
Last night we attended the SUNY Fulton-Montgomery town hall!

Thank you to everyone who attended. It’s an honor to meet my neighbors, business owners, veterans, farmers, parents, and teachers, and answer their thoughtful questions.
And thank you Michael, David and Ken for providing us with an amazing venue! We can’t wait until you open for business!
It was exciting to see so many great candidates at this year’s annual Rome Democratic Committee Fundraiser.  I am excited for Rome’s elections this fall with so much talent and heart! Thank you Angela for all your hard work!
This is how I get things done. From covering corn silage in the morning to meeting with my friends and neighbors for the campaign in the afternoon. Thank you Mother Nature for great weather during harvest and thank Peter and Barbara Beekman for your hospitality
To everyone celebrating Rosh Hashana across the North Country, wishing you and your loved ones a very peaceful, prosperous, and happy New Year! Shana tova!
While our Congresswoman Stefanik is focused on running for Governor, I am holding another town hall this week! Join us on September 26th for a conversation about how we can bring real leadership back to the North Country.
Families in New York could soon see their health care costs rise because of Elise Stefanik's vote today. Her vote is a vote against extending Affordable Care Act premium subsidies.

Without them, premiums will climb and many New Yorkers will priced out of coverage. Shameful.
Congresswoman Stefanik is willing to shutdown the government to protect tax breaks for billionaires.

That’s it, that’s the tweet.
The federal government is barreling toward a shutdown, and Elise Stefanik is willing to give tax breaks to the billionaires in the process.

The North Country deserves better. Unlike Congresswoman Stefanik, I’ll never put personal donors or ambitions ahead of our people.
It was a great afternoon with the Beekmantown democratic committee at Doc’s on the Water.

Thank you for all of your support for my campaign and the many others running for local office in Clinton County. It’s an inspiration to spend time with so many public servants and engaged community members.
I had a wonderful afternoon at the senior picnic in Gloversville yesterday - seeing some familiar faces, and meeting some new ones too. We gathered to celebrate the lives of those that we lost almost 25 years ago on 9/11, and to remember their sacrifice.
As we honor the lives lost on 9/11 we are reminded that violence whether foreign or domestic threatens the very fabric of our democracy. We must stand united against hate and political violence in all its forms.
