I think it can be hard to see what it would be like to have a narcissistic sense of self because we tend to see others as like our self. To the narcissist the other is instrumentalised and subsumed under their sense of self. It's always self referential, for their own kudos.
It annoying cos in some context he absolutely opposes judgements made of groups en mass, stereotypical generalisations, then next minute he's making them . . .
He used to be a hippy, it really complicated n some of reasons i'm not going to be able to say in public cos his rationale seems justifiable on some points . . .
But this all relies on his perception of certain events and the degree to which that perception was already biased . . .
