I am definitely planning on doing another 30 days of cosplay before the year is up, for traditions sake even though I have been on hiatus most of this year 🫶

Idk like does it hurt to help and then feel played? 100%
But I’m the one in my body and in my head, and I would never forgive myself for not helping when I could have. I can just hope that it has a positive impact on their life and how they treat the world.

Sometimes I get so bitter about being kind, I just get jaded that people don’t deserve it. But then I shake it off, bc even if someone wrongs me, why should they be deprived of compassion, even if I feel like a fool for helping, in the moment helping was the right thing to do.

Some of this weeks cosplays for the challenge 🫩 one of the backdrops has eternal ripples in it because no matter how tight it is on the bar it loses tension under the clips 😭💃🏻

Oh it could be because when an account is deactivated, if someone is clearing out followers it lets them sift through the deactivated first, I clicked onto mine and it groups them up in one

I take a huge water bottle to work to encourage myself to drink more- and it works if I’m at the desk. But I’m usually not and it’s that pinch too big to carry around, so I am fully just feeling sorry for myself for the mini dehydration headache I’ve got going on

The tomatoes especially are so good!!! The peppers have been growing a lil too much and too fast for us so I’ve been sharing them with people more than cooking with them. But they’re going in a curry today 🫶🫶🫶

Cosplay alterations for our well-being!

There are many ways that people alter their cosplays to ensure they stay comfortable and safe. These are just a few that come up for me. I think this is an important topic to talk about— what are some ways that you alter your cosplays?

Cosplay can be uncomfortable, often because the characters were trying to embody AREN’T REAL. But as real people, our safety and confidence matter and don’t need to be compromised to enjoy our hobby.

As a trans person, alterations can help alleviate dysphoria and break limitations on how you are able to be in your body.

Before chest surgery, for me, this meant extending fabric for tops and scarfs so my chest could be bound and covered.

Body image is something many of us struggle with, myself included!

Cosplaying a character with an exposed tummy but aren’t feeling it? Using self-cling tape or a wide sash around your midsection is a great and in-universe addition!
