I'm using ChatGPT to tutor me in Unreal Engine so I can make a game (without paying through the snout for school).

I'm already an animator.

I don't want "erotica for verified adults", but I would like "ChatGPT that fact-checks instead of talking out of its ass".

It's more a matter of having to relearn tons of muscle-memory from hotkeys and everything. Plus, I'm told Blender doesn't use a modifier stack like MAX, I dunno...?

It's what I learned on, all those years ago. I really should migrate to Blender, but...well...starting over isn't easy.

Sure, it's full of Mormon-coded lore, but I guess in a way, that's kinda...charming? I d'know. Amusing, maybe.

Still, it's far better, I think, than nBSG; it has more of that SW OT vibe, yanno?

It answered so many little questions, like why Flynn was wearing this sash/smock thing while Tron, Ram, Clu, etc, didn't.

So much of the worldbuilding is present, but it's all blink-and-you'll-miss-it kindsa stuff.

I've watched it dozens of times, literally, and after reading the novelization--which I have to assume was based on the script and treatment notes; it's Alan Dean Foster, and I trust his movie tie-in work--I can see so much was left unsaid, but it's shown...
