These books of hers help explain why:

Eternally grateful to Heather Marsh and Binding Chaos for helping me break free from Authoritarian endoreality and the curse of 19th century Anglo Germanic thought.

If more USians would read and truly attempt to digest Binding Chaos it could be the antidote to this mass nihilism. It reframes despair. They’d see what’s happening is not just an ending, but should be where something new, adaptive & necessary begins. It’s scary, but also the potential is exciting.

In my opinion her work is the first significant look at nihilism since Nietzsche.

And Heather has an advantage. The difference is historical. Nietzsche wrote when industrial modernity was still hardening hierarchies, so he couldn’t yet see decentralization as viable. Marsh writes in a networked age where collaboration at scale is materially possible.

So, Nietzsche saw the collapse of meaning as a danger of paralysis but urged new value-creation. Marsh extends that move: where he pointed to individuals transcending nihilism, she points to networks that can collectively grow from the rupture of authority. Fred had hope, Heather has a solution.

This is what Heather Marsh calls "Autogenocide" - getting a group of people to die thru various ways. Like no healthcare, vaccines, decent jobs, letting guns run a muck, making people hate each other enough to shoot (or machete) each other...

A very important thread from a highly knowledgable source. 🧵 This isn't just history, it has been ongoing and it is escalating again now. Watch #OpDeathEaters and those who try to sabotage it, directly and indirectly. #BindingChaos #3E

Binding Chaos was written in 2013 - not written about Trump. Anyone going around suggesting people shouldn’t read is a coward of ideas, an enemy of truth, & afraid of an informed public.

Not to be a cliche but it felt a lot like the matrix, except you don't realize when you've swallowed the red pill. I'm not even sure which chapter I was on when it finally hit me. I do know that by the end of Binding Chaos there was no turning back.

First of all, yarvin is a fucking idiot, his writing sounds like an edgy teenager who thinks they know it all.

Second of all, read Heather Marsh.
The neo-reactionary blogger Curtis Yarvin wants to destroy American democracy. With the Trumpian right embracing strongman rule, his ideas have found mainstream purchase.
Curtis Yarvin’s Plot Against America
The reactionary blogger’s call for a monarch to rule the country once seemed like a joke. Now the right is ready to bend the knee.

I’m going to post these hard to read screenshots (with alt text though) of what Heather Marsh has written about how we must consider what our actual options are. Our enemies want to balkanize the US. Is that our choice?
