On Friday Oct 24 8pm, at Phil Grimes pub and venue in Waterford City, SpeakEasy will host Ireland Professor of Poetry Vona Groarke. Vona is shortlisted for the prestigious TS Eliot Prize. She will give a reading, and will also be in conversation with Waterford poet, @mollytwomey. @poetryireland

May 23, SpeakEasy Open MIc, Waterford with guest poet Mícheál McCann. Mícheál is from Derry City. His poems have been published in The Poetry Review, Poetry Ireland Review and Banshee.He holds a PhD from the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s. Devotion is his first collection, from Gallery Press.
