the Wisconsin Bike Fed, who advocated for this, and this is what we got? If you wanted this, are you satisfied? I worry that this is what they have planned for the KKRT. They want the lane on the side with driveways. Surely, we can do better. The KKRT should be closed to through traffic. End.

traffic to get on it. That brings me to the so-called bike trail. The trail is badly constructed. You can tell it's not constructed to the same level as the street. With having to traverse over multitudinous driveways, which is so bumpy and uncomfortable. There's a lot of opportunities for water

for right turns above cyclist safety. There's the conflict point where drivers have to cross the bike lane to get in that turn lane, and we know drivers don't pay attention. Confoundingly, this is where a cyclist would pick up the bike "trail," but a cyclist would have to cut across that turning

it's next to the curb. From Howell to Whitnall, it's next to parking. As you approach Whitnall, they opted to sandwich the bike lane between the drive and turn lane. This is not the only place they have done this, and it's not a comfortable place to be. In other words, they put drivers' convenience

Whoever approved, designed and constructed the Howard Avenue bike lane should not work in urban planning. I was walking the dog last night around 6:30, peak rush hour traffic, and here's what I observed. 🧵
Between 6th and Whitnall, they have implemented paint-only bike lanes. From 6th to Howard,

I pretty much check mine every time I ride. Yesterday, I tried the feel test and almost rode out, but I checked the PSI instead. Glad I did because they were at 80 for 25c road tires.

No wonder everyone drives their kids to school. This makes me so angry. We created this society where we require seniors to drive because of our failure to plan from out behind the windshield. This is what happens when you create only car-centered infrastructure.

That Bo Bichette/Daulton Varsho/whoever the fuck that umpire was thing... that was a gamechanger. The Jays would've score at least one run, which wins the game for them. Sure, they could've scored one of the 19 left on base, but why do umpire fuckups always favor teams who don't need the extra help?
