Heard whispers of chili + pasta. Investigated. Confirmed. Delicious. Used penne because I’m fancy like that. 🍝🌶️🕵️‍♂️
@www.bikehugger.com My new Apple Watch Ultra 3 unexpectedly matches my Nikon 35Ti — love when old and new gear sync up like this. 📸⌚💚
Found a random wrench on the side of the road a few weeks back—finally needed it today, and it fit the bolt perfectly. Nothing like a surprise tool coming through when it counts.
spidey senses kicked in...I did this but ran out of daylight in the Methow Valley. Not recommended. It was pitch black and I rode most of by memory.
Heading back to the Valley from Seattle. Zoomed in from 300 yards out—he didn’t give a single F I was there. You don’t grasp how colossal a bull moose is until one’s in your frame.
Me: “I’d love to talk, but I just joined a Witness Protection Program.”

The hush of hills and golden grass above the Methow Valley.
Winding through contrasts—golden hills, green dreams, and black burn scars.
Honestly, I did not expect Sony to take this step. Maybe all the chatter from Mark II owners finally tipped the scale — wishful thinking turned wishlist item. The RX1R III crams full-frame fidelity into the size of a jersey pocket.
After a spring and summer spent mostly on the trails, I wasn’t sure how the road would feel today… but 45 miles at 15 mph isn’t too shabby for an old cycling bro. Looks like I’m still holding onto a little fitness.
Guess who's back? Just in time for Independence Day, my friends at Outdoor Photographer relaunched and the magazine is officially returning to print!

Update from my day job. I'm celebrating 25 years since I joined Amazon as one of its first independent sellers in 2000! What began as a simple solution for stale chips has come a long way—from an FBA early boost to Clip-n-Seal flying in space with NASA. Read the story here.

The Seattle Center fountain on Father's Day.
Shooting an event with a compact is nice because it doesn’t look like anything. No one seemed to mind and I was just taking photos of No Kings signs and dogs and whatever. I’ll get the film developed next week.
The monorail, captured in three moods — red, blue, and monochrome. Nikon 35Ti, Flik Film Elektra 100.
Like the caption said.
I'm just wrapping my head around how that lane is too skinny when I remember there was no lane.
The Cinnamon Bear owes me $12—for attempting to snack on my pricey outdoor shower shampoo. I discovered the shower caddy knocked over and a bite mark in the bottle. Adjusting the walkway lighting? Fine. Helping itself to my grooming products? Absolutely not.
It's super nice and the fit is perfect.
And designers have finally figured out how to make MIPS more comfortable. It used to be too tight on my head, but not anymore doesn’t even feel like anything there.
