And a load of spikes on the ground just waiting to impale you 😂

It's so hard not to take it personally, too, when you put your heart and soul into your stuff. I really need to work on growing a thicker skin ready for my game releasing in November.
Hi!
Oh, its pretty much abject terror for me 😂
Thank you! 😊
Yeah, my brain lost its brake pedal I think 😂😂
I really enjoyed that. A nice bit of joyful escapism.
Why has my stupid brain decided that adding a 3rd project to the 2 I'm already working on is a good idea?

So now I've got 1 #boardgame, 1 #ttrpg and 1 #novel on the go.

Send coffee. Oooooh and biscuits.
Castles are great.
Scarborough is my local castle too! Pretty much only have to cross the road from my house to see it.
That sounds right up my street. I'll have to check it out.
Thank you so much!
I'm absolutely terrified 😂😂
For me, I get a first line in my head and the whole concept unravels from there (I tend to write little intro stories for my games).
I also like a table of contents to arrange my thoughts and plan a flow to the idea.
Oh for sure.
That's the beauty of boardgames - there really is something for everyone. And there's room for everyone's ideas. It's such a great industry with a wonderful sense of community.
And that's perfect for making it re-playable. If it's the same experience every time you play, it can mean it gets played less. I know I tend to choose games with more variables when I play.
Most of my games seem to have a dynamic map/location tiles too. Its a great way to ensure a different experience each time it's played.
Oh awesome! I love the idea of the buildings moving each round. Like how The Strangers were changing stuff! And the memories/psychic abilities sound like a really interesting mechanic too!
I like that philosophy a lot 😊
Oh my goodness, that goblin is adorable!
Thank you!
I'm hoping to polish it up enough to start pitching in the next few weeks 😊 Fingers crossed somebody will want to take it on!
May I ask what your concept is? (totally cool if you don't want to say, i just love talking ideas with people)
Thank you! 😊
Took ages to cut out 😂
Had such a fun experience with the first playtest though, so was entirely worth it.
I get this! There are huge ups and downs throughout the process for sure. I swing from frantic optimism to abject disillusionment, via imposter syndrome every time 😂
Thank you! 😊 😊
I'm having so much fun working on them!
Awesome! A positive first playtest is such a great feeling!
It would be the place a party could go to bury their dead fighters 💪🪦
