CPS not using the OSA rules for a potential espionage case witness statement. Incompetence beyond belief.

What the Chinese spying case witness statements reveal

The Crown Prosecution Service appears to have made at least one serious error, while the government's position now makes sense

By me

Yesterday this blog sought to make sense of the decision to drop the Chinese Spying prosecutions on the information then available, and averred that both the positions of the government and the Crown Prosecution Service did not make sense.

Now the government has published three witness statements, the picture now changes. The government’s position now makes sense, and the CPS looks as if it made at least one serious mistake and possibly another.

There is no need for a moral panic about the UK's welfare system.

Far from perfect but recent discourse is nuts

Spending is controlled, not spiralling

Worklessness is near record lows

The gloves have been an absolute lifesaver. Heated back thing was something I hadn't considered, thanks for the nudge. I've got to sort a bag out too. Again, thanks for the reminder Mike.

Today's adventure; tearing it up around the Christmas Decorations. It was like Tokyo Drift round those isles and no one got hurt! My rugby bod is truly paying dividends.

Life will become even more interesting tomorrow though. The all-terrain mega feck you active user chair with wheels arrives!!
Why are folk referencing a flawed Daily Mail poll about youth attitudes towards fighting for the UK as the cornerstone of an article on the future of UK defence? Defence writers need to do better and cease being lazy. Especially with so many excellent academic studies showing the opposite.

An abhorrent move. That said Labour were always going to be ableist.
Deform, a thought: As more Tories swamp Deform, Fromage et al are inevitably going to encounter growing Tory Machiavellian behaviour, something they have no experience in dealing with. In 18 months Fromage et al may well have become irrelevant as Deform collapses in on itself in a bonfire of egos.

Getting used to the new normal with my chair with wheels. Mrs S took me out this morning for coffee and yum yums at Newark YMCA.

The learning curve continues...
Proving the AI industry is nothing more than a parasite on the creative industries.
Can't have educated Proles now, can we?
Deform welcoming a lot of Tories into their ranks treating this as some sort of victory. Fromage really has no idea what lies in store as the Tory opportunists will inevitably tear Deform apart in real time before his eyes.

And I'm here for it.
