‘The Fall’ is a largely symbolic painting, which also makes reference to a passage in Moby Dick. The piece is also featured in the 200th anniversary edition of the great novel by Herman Melville.

Painting 'Doomsday / the Sermon'. My paintings reference sculptures which give them an 'uncanny' feeling - solid and anchored in reality, yet crude and unfinished, as though the residue of an unfinished thought.
