Great end to the day: met Environment Agency Chair Alan Lovell and East of England Director Graham Verrier in Parliament to press for more investment in South Norfolk flood protection. Focused on the River Yare—especially Surlingham—and future risks to the Chet if the Yare can’t cope.

The Business Rates system is broken: we need fundamental reform now so retail can thrive under a fair, modern system.

🚑 Our paramedics go above and beyond every day. I met the Longwater team last week to discuss retirement age, shift handovers and ambulance quality. I’ll raise their concerns with the Minister: our paramedics deserve a fair deal.
