Another year will probably improve it I think 🤔
To celebrate 2 months until Christmas 🎄 it's time... N'ice Chouffe BB End Oct 25 😂 Sweet & delicious, but God knows what they'll do to this years label with their kindergarten rebranding that's been happening this year 🫣
Hertog Jan, Grand Prestige 2020, & Rodenbach 2012 Vintage Foeder 170. Orval & St Bernardus cheeses, bitterballen, Westvleteren patê & Brets Crisps. All weekends should be like this...
Aged beers, quality snacks, cheese 🧀 and patê.
Last time we were there it was a lot wilder!
Hi Craig, did you work out your seasonal opening times yet ? Ta Roy
Great read, thanks for sharing.
It's all downhill now after starting with Marks 'green hopped' beer.
I can't ever imagine another Cav coming along on the TdF again. If they are going to make it this hard at least stick a camera bike with the groupetto then we'll see some cracking descending at least.
Maybe the 10th Nov on our way to the folks in Ironbridge
Hi guys, can I check your opening times on a Monday please? Ta
Sunshine 🌞 30km ride into the Surrey Oaks for Burning Sky Aurora 😋
So thought provoking, the 1st time we went I couldn't go in, but now we always visit Robert McNeil & leave a poppy
& a tractor on #TractorTuesday a Fergie 135 what a beauty 😍
Result, cheapest we found in Normandy was 1.27e but prices did vary depending on flavour.
On a chilly wet day with no cycling on the tv, what do you do? Well if you're @beerbabe-uk.bsky.social you make a memory bear 🐻 out of all the TdF caravan swag, that's what you do... @bonsvoeux1.bsky.social @roggys.bsky.social @letourfr.bsky.social @josebeentv.bsky.social @jezcox.bsky.social
Well for once she's correct...
Youngs Winter Warmer was the, go to, beer for this time of year, around these parts, but I'm not sure it's the beer it was sadly.
Perfect balance between style, flavour & alcohol, Tripick 10, brewed & bottled at Lupulus 👌
Good lord, now Dogfish Head 120 Min IPA thru a Randall, yes, but what the hell is going thru that ? A rauche beer maybe ? Curious.
The EPR is more of an issue in France as they don't have DRS on their bottles. In Normandy we found loads of cans, 3 Monts, Anosteke, Cornet, Kwak, Delirium etc etc
I quite like it along with its little brother at 6%. I would say that I find a lot of 10-12% beers struggle to find a good balance between the taste & alcohol. As for the can thing, love it, so much lighter & the 500ml are a perfect share for us. I think it's a lot to do with the EPR tax on glass.
Lunch gravel ride of 40km followed by a late afternoon fire & a few beers. Bread 🍞 and cheese 🧀 with a 12 year old Westy 12 #happydays
