I have been going to ibiza since 1975 and have never seen water in the river in Sta Eulalia del Rio. It is now a raging torrent. On mainland spain, so much flooding. When Mar a Lago is swept away, then he might believe

California, this November 4th, the whole country is counting on you.

Prop 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide.

So return your ballot today. Vote yes on 50.

What's this?

An actual media story being positive about the real achievements the Labour government are making towards delivering their manifesto.

I know many of you already know this fact, but isn't it good to see someone in the media reporting it?

Thank you @politicsjoe.bsky.social

Price controls could help tackle inflation.

But just like with wealth taxes, public ownership and reversing austerity, the Government is failing to act.

This is not the change voters voted for.

Netanyahu sold himself to voters as the “Trump whisperer" so he has to accept Trump’s diktats as his own. Netanyahu has spun all this as part of his plans – he is “a master at disguising retreat as advance”. But the illusion is wearing thin.

I had told you the police were wrong in this case.

I said it did NOT PROVE that the government had banned legitimate protest about Gaza, as many claimed.

It was the police over stepping. And now they have had to apologise and pay damages.

Legal protest IS allowed. Supporting banned groups is not.

On the centenary of Thatcher's birth, there have been predictable calls for a memorial to her memory. But Britain's 2300 food banks serve that purpose already.

I'm sure everyone in Massachusetts feels safer now that ICE detained a 13 year old Brazilian immigrant on his way to school & shipped him 500 miles from his mom. (She's authorized to work & has an upcoming asylum hearing.) How does detaining her son (who broke no laws) make us a better country?🤦‍♀️

It's infuriating.

Republicans are NEVER held accountable for their flip-flopping hypocrisy.

But the U.S. media has a bloodlust for destroying Democrats whenever they even consider evolving their stance on an issue.
