I remind myself of my own strengths, about how I love what I do and also how it's OK not to be the very best in the world at it.

I think plenty of composers are awesome even though they aren't Mozart and I should give myself the same grace in my own field.
Hi-5. I'm running a micro-indie game studio (just me and a few freelance artists) and everybody assumes I should want to expand, strike it rich, sell to a publisher. But I prefer what I'm doing now. It's ok to stay small!
I could swear I've heard locals say both "Tronna" and "Tronno." Though I just asked my Toronto-born spouse to say it and it was indeed the latter. I just made sure to stop saying 2/3rds of the Ts and that was good enough.
Thank you! I have a one-playthrough-only Thedas policy so my four MCs are pretty much my children. :D
On the other hand, Inquisitor Sable is nothing *but* filters. He had an actual, in-game argument with Dorian because of his tendency not to share his feelings (I was giggling with glee the entire time).
My inquisitor, Sable, as he appeared in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. He is a handsome young white human man with long, luscious red locks, thick brows, a wide nose, and generous lips. His countenance is highly freckled. He always looks a bit like he'd rather be home reading a book in front of the fire instead of in the middle of all this shit.
Does this lady *look* like she has a filter?
Meruka de Riva, the most Antivan-looking elf you've ever seen. She's almost more hair than elf (it is long and black and very curly), has striking, severe features, and absolutely, positively does not look like she has ever even heard of a filter.
I guess once you've got a time bomb in your chest and a mind-control worm in your brain everything else is water under the bridge.
But will they learn from this and support future projects that appeal heavily to women and girls? I would like to be pleasantly surprised for a change.

Did a photo study and made it Scout Harding because we all need to appreciate her more thanks

Illustration of Lace Harding (dwarf woman, pale freckled skin, red hair). She wears green underwear and sits on a wooden chest, doing up her hair.
Seriously, it's so easy to avoid. 99% of my game's art is by my artists and the remaining 1% is from human-created asset packs I purchased for like $20. Oh look, 0% gen AI.
Love how they're tripling down on video, the single most Earth-destroying form of genAI.
The statement about how they've mitigated mental health risks is a total lie, too.
What a weird thing to doubt. Why the heck would "make metal slab sharp and pointy" be an idea limited to certain ancient societies?
In the middle of a conversation about the possibly illegal activities of our national grocery oligopoly, I heard myself saying the phrase, "Somebody could have videotaped it," and I'm pretty sure this happened right after:
a close up of a woman with her eyes closed .
Alt: A woman suddenly grows a ton of wrinkles, then turns her face toward the camera.

Have you played Odyssey before? Kassandra is an absolute treat.
At least the people designing the sculpture did!
Ah, yes, the terrible Bluesky TOS is coming in to play soon. I'll continue to post whatever I like that does not cause harm to other people.

Posting properly labelled sexual content does not cause harm to other people. Nor does posting queer content of any kind.

If they think it does, BYE.
This is what happens when you pay your marketing team five cent.
A ha ha Lucanis is SO a sub. It's true.
The advantage in WHAT? Dumbfuckery?
I'm always happy to interact with artists if I QRP them, but I'm a different flavour of neurodivergent so who knows if I'm normal?
230 Euros is about $375 in my currency, so yeah. That's a good deal more expensive than the Canadian price.
230 EUROS? I thought the Canadian price was bad, but that is madness.
