I am really glad that No Kings in Rock Springs had a great turnout, however, I hate hate hate having to moderate the Facebook comments on the post I made for local news. So much hate and ignorance. I naively asked for no personal attacks in the comments, and got roasted for advocating censorship.

The extras ARE cool. Especially the lenticular pin that shows the hamster being nuked. I am nitpicky that the patch is the PC character select rather than the NES one, but I gotta remember this stuff is limited and costs money to produce. All in all, I'm pretty happy, and I haven't played it yet!

I guess I'm a hypocrite. Pretty sure I said I wouldn't buy this because I could just get the original for less. Well... It showed up in the LRG vault, so I caved. I'm telling myself I got it for the extras.

So I go to @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social search for 'Jademan' and instantly found the correct issue. Here is the letter EGM got about it. Jademan actually said they were going to look in the game's code to see if Sheng exists, not to add him to the story.

I love the @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social library. I remembered that a Hong Kong comic company (Jademan Comics) reprinted the Sheng Long April Fool's trick as real. But when you look it up online, lots of outlets say they incorporated the fake character into their story. I knew that was wrong. (cont.)

Has anyone (Drew Mackie, perhaps?) ever written an article talking about the origins and the whois of EGM Review Crew member Sushi-X? I know the basics, like he was based on a similar character in Famitsu, and was not always written by the same person, but I'd love to read an in-depth article.

Just got to read Spider-Man: Noir by @eriklarsen.bsky.social and Andrea Broccardo. It's REALLY good and worth your time. Even tho it's set in the late 30's, it FEELS like Spider-Man. Also, there is Nazi punching, so gotta love that!
