My fountain has been invaded by Yellow-rumped “Myrtle” Warblers aka “Butter Butts” along with American Goldfinches today! I inserted some flat stones creating shallow water & was immediately rewarded with bathing birds. #Fallbirdmigration is truly a magic time in AA County, Maryland. #birds 🪶

Yeah, when we moved here about 25 years ago, it was very conservative and seems to have become entrenched. Still, I generally love the area and our own little part of it. It was nice to see we are not alone in our worries about the state of things.
