On rewatching ep 4 of #Countdown, my fave (incomprehensibly) canceled show I wonder if I'm hallucinating an Easter egg ~37 min in. Volchek escapes Van Nuys tarmac to the left as a Grey haired gent in glasses, seen from behind, is buying a ticket on the right. He even has a line, "Thank you."

Support your product. When I worked for the military, Army vs Air Force personnel diffs was explained as product support: people vs planes. It tracked as a generality. Entertainment companies need to UNDERSTAND their product and consumers, support the development of shows and fanbases.

Reading about the Prine Video executive Shakespeare makes me sad, angry and worried. I hope they give Friedlander a chance. It seems like all their content has suffered from a Whhel of Time/James Bond backlash and a company identity. Are they an entertainment company or not?

How long will I miss Meachum, Oliver's and the #Countdown crew? Here's a clue: I just hauled out my DVD for a 2 year anniversary watch of #TheWinchesters, another good show canceled by network knuckleheads after one season. I love hard media cuz they earn less from my rewatches.

#JensenAckles IG post was so sad. Everyone involved in this show brought their A game and it showed. I sometimes think that these megacorps are run by AI algorithms with all their attendant stupidity. I don't know if signing the Change.org petition to #SaveCountdown will help, but I did it anyway.🤞

And now finding out that #Countdown was canceled, I mirror his expression although mine shades more toward anger. So tired of suits discounting fan preferences in pursuit of buzz. Creatives have to don suits of armor to tell their stories despite shortsighted corporate dwarves. End result: trash TV😡
