So the estimated cost of national healthcare is $40 billion.
We’re told we can’t afford it.

But apparently…
we can.

For Argentina.

To pay for their national healthcare.

I’m convinced:
Americans might be the only nation that funds everyone else’s future while arguing they can’t afford their own.
The hard truth is:the corridor of freedom is narrow.Every generation has to walk it again. Not by burning institutions down, but by keeping them honest.

Freedom doesn’t survive by accident. It survives because people keep showing up & fighting for it. Every generation has a role in pushing us forward
When the state gets too strong, it’s tyrannical. When it’s too weak, anarchy takes over. But when both hold each other accountable: when government serves and citizens stay engaged, that’s where liberty lives.

In their book The Narrow Corridor, Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson (you should read this) reveal something profound:
Societies stay free only when the power of the people and the power of the state grow together—in tension, but in trust.
We like to believe freedom is something we win. A revolution happens. A constitution is written. The good guys prevail. But freedom isn’t a prize you win once, it’s something you continually practice at in an infinite game.

You speak of freedom, yet you practice tyranny.

And when a government can do that to you without a warrant, without a reason, without a consequence, then it doesn’t matter what they call you: citizen, voter, taxpayer, but in reality you are nothing but their prisoner.

They call themselves the party of freedom. But freedom doesn’t break down your door in the dead of night. Freedom doesn’t zip-tie your children while you watch. Freedom doesn’t strip you naked, drag you into the street, and throw you into a van with no lawyer, no trial, no call.

Reports are that he hasn’t been seen since Tuesday
Imagine passing on Kamala Harris over the price of eggs… only to watch everything get more expensive, lose your health insurance, see soldiers patrolling your neighborhood, and be stuck with a geriatric capitulating president ranting about ending ten wars (of countries he can’t name) all at once.

Keep people exhausted and they won’t organize. Keep them struggling and they won’t unite. Keep them divided and they won’t resist. The system isn’t failing, it’s doing exactly what it was built to do.
When fear replaces integrity and prejudice replaces critical thinking, the great American experiment doesn’t just lose its way—it risks losing everything. We built the most prolific democracy in human history… but it survives only if we can to keep it.
It was never about the values, it was about holding power and finding someone to blame for their own struggles, even when those struggles were shaped by their own choices at the ballot box.
Republicans who claimed to stand for faith, law, and country abandoned those ideals to defend a leader who violated the Constitution, profited from public office, and lived in direct opposition to the principles they preached.
Over the past decade, I’ve learned a hard truth: values only matter if they hold when it’s inconvenient.
The most sobering truth I’ve learned in the past decade is this:

Republicans never meant a word of what they claimed to stand for. Not one.
Look at the gerrymandering
It’s awful.
When Trump refuses to leave in 2028, history will mark the day he federalized and militarized D.C. (without a shred of justification) as the opening move of his coup.
