I still can’t believe I’m running across seemingly leftist people who still try to make excuses to use ChatGPT for even mundane tasks.

There is no legitimate reason to be using it, it is not a “necessary evil” piece of technology that you need in any sort of way.

When we write or draw porn or erotica, we get banned from having a bank account and our livelihoods get seized even if we give it away for free.

When billionaires steal what we've written or drawn to churn out a slop-approximate of porn, they're allowed to charge for it.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

Being proactive is so important; i.e. Saw the gate openings as a possible risk b/c Mabel's face is small enough to get her muzzle through -> Maya could possibly grab it if they got into a scuffle at the gate (esp b/c Mabel likes to instigate) -> resulting in injury or worse

When I tell people about what my daily routine is like with my dogs it probably sounds crazy but it's so normal for me now that it really isn't a lot of extra work - though it's hard to trust people to watch my dogs b/c of that. Steph knows me and my dogs very well though so I know she'll be fine.

Owning reactive dogs that do not get along is a lot of risk prevention and minimizing any possible opportunities for accidents. Since I'm having @craniatology.bsky.social house sit I'm analyzing basically anything that could result in injury between dogs. 🫡

Idk if anyone cares to see random house projects LOL but did this yesterday and added mesh to the dog gate to hopefully prevent any potential injuries if Mabel tried to stick her face through the spacing. I think it came out pretty clean 😎
