All in all, honestly, if you want a game to just play through and forget then Legends z-a may be for you. If you want to continually play as an offline non-ranked player, you're gonna feel slightly constricted.

I absolutely have to deduct points for the fact that some MEGA STONES are behind the online paywall as well. I had a delphox on my team the entire game, only to find out I would have to get S tier in ranked online battles to even receive the delphoxite. Very very disappointed with that.

since im a shiny hunter, i have to talk about shiny hunting. its just way too easy and way too boring in this game. its not very engaging at all to fast travel constantly for respawns.

the shiny charm is locked behind a paywall essentially, (you have to trade online to unlock the charm from mable)

The story is fine but more B/C-tier than other games, and especially legends arceus. honestly, still fun to play through and I love that we get to see characters we already know n love

As far as the game itself goes, I think its really fun, but i also think this is a "you love it or you hate it" kinda thing. I was afraid the battles would be frantic and confusing, but they ended up being way easier and more fun than expected.

although... no pokemon have their abilities anymore-

I think the conversation around pit bulls should be less “pitbulls inherently scary and they maul children” and more “many people who have pit bulls do not have the capacity to raise and keep them adequately (or any dog breed for that matter)”
