I think we need to ADD that last syllable as a reminder to all who didn't have antifascist family & friends fighting like hell in WW2. IT IS GOOD TO BE ANTI FASCIST!
I salute my father-in-law and his two brothers who joined the Navy in Scotland (see alt). Remember on October 18!

Three brothers who joined the Navy from Oban, Scotland in 1941. Milton (my FIL on Left) and uncles Ray and Johnny. They left the US during the depression for jobs abroad on the ship building Scottish coast. Milt went on to be a Seabee in the South Pacific and return to raise a family in Tucson, Ray served in the Atlantic and returned home to Wisconsin to farm, Johnny went back to the merchant marine where he had worked on ore boats on Lake Superior. THIS is what antifa/anti fascists look like! I miss their stories, I miss THEM, they were the best of us. Don't forget what October 18 is for!!

Waiting for deployment at a quonset hut somewhere in Britain. My FIL on right would go on to be a Seabee in the South Pacific building landing strips, roads and providing all the support construction needed to make ready for the Marine landings. It was grueling hot work and he and many others came home with tropical diseases. He wound up in Tucson in the Vet's hospital on the way to a berth at UCLA, and he and my MIL decided to stay and he attended UA instead. Fortuitous for me! THIS is what antifa/anfascists look like! Remember on October 18 who they were and who we are! !
