There are a lot of traditions at Baca, but Friday Night Meal is a special weekly event. When people arrive in this country, they often miss the sense of community they had back home. Baca gives them the chance to show their culinary skills learned in the time they spend with us! 🍲

Imagine being forced to flee Afghanistan aged 15 because your family was under threat. Imagine taking a 5,000-mile journey to find safety & being one of the few lucky ones who survive.
