they appear to be permanent. bluesky moderation hit my entire account with rude labels and I cannot appeal it. the rude label warning can be switched from "warn" to "off" in settings.

or, at the very least, they still want to seem as if they do care. like, they won't take the proper precautions that would indicate that they do care, but they do act how they think they should act, which stems from covid misinformation & not wanting to inconvenience themselves by wearing a mask.

they missed a day of class but came back to class while sick with covid with only a surgical mask on. no one else besides me and few others wore adequate masks or N95s. I raised concerns with my prof, and my prof started wearing a mask, but only when sitting next to me. people just don't care at all

several months ago, I was assigned to work with someone on a group project. project was going fine until the person I was working with tested positive for covid. their partner was really sick with covid, but they argued they weren't sick with covid, even tho they claimed to be asymptomatic.

this is why it is difficult for me to talk about covid and masking because it feels like, every time I do so, I end up getting into an unpleasant argument with people like Joad.

that's fine. I just think such a bio is misleading after having witnessed such apathetic, dismissive, & callous behavior from you. I don't have anything inside my heart that would cause such apathy or viciousness for people who have been negatively affected by covid to spill out. seek empathy.

again, in your opinion, you don't characterize your actions in that manner. and yet you quote someone w/ long covid to mock them, repeatedly ask a bad-faith question ad nauseam. you got jamelle to agree with you while also referring to masking as not "rational" & "unreasonable".

you do realize that if more people masked now to stop covid, then less people will need to mask against covid in the future, right? I know you can't seem to get over being asked by others to wear a mask because such an action inconveniences you bc you seem to hate wearing a mask, but think about it.
