Ink looks down at Nightmare, both arms on the arms of the throne. He leans down, grabbing Nightmare's collar (a blue paint vial) before he suddenly pulls him forward by it. Nightmare looks surprised, but keeps smiling. Ink says, "Awww. I don't think you're quite getting it."

Ink smiles menacingly, his eyes are obscured while his eyelights glow red and yellow; his face is similar to the face Flowey usually makes. He says, "I could make Error come here." Ink looks away, smiling yet looking exasperated. He says, "You know how he gets sometimes."

Nightmare looks up, making a vague smile as he keeps his eye semi-closed; hes sweating. He hums. Ink is shown with a pinker color palette and his dialogue box gets increasingly blurry, he's saying, looking away while looking nervous, "He'd start tearing apart the coding of this place the moment I started begging for him not to."

Ink looks back, smiling. He looks exasperated again. He looks away once more, making a "pf." He gets his knee on the throne, getting on Nightmare's lap. Ink's saying, "Y'know, I wonder what will come first... Your pets suspecting your true allegiance or...—" to Nightmare, who looks nervous as Ink gets closer

Ink is looking back, half-crossing his arms while having a finger pressed against his cheek. He's saying, "Y'know, you're getting... Bold". Nightmare looks back at him, bored. He's sitting on a blue throne. He hums, attention piqued.

Nightmare looks back, resting his face on a hand. He's smirking and says, "You never complained before". Ink smiles unimpressed, frowning, he says, "Ha, just look at you. Don't you think you're being too smug?" He walks forward with his arms crossed behind his back, looking at Nightmare over his shoulder.

Nightmare looks away, smirking. He says, "Why wouldn't I be?" He looks back at Ink, smirking smugly as he slightly outstretched his hand. He says, "I have the multiverse's guardian eating out of my hand."

Ink smiles, annoyed as he raises an eyebrow. He says, "pff, that's cute. You're lucky I'm not meaner." He leans down and forward, putting his hands on Nightmare's throne's arm. He says, "I could very easily hold that against you." Nightmare looks back at him, still smiling. He says, "Oh? I never took you as someone particularly petty."

Nightmare is nuzzling Ink's neck while they're hugging. Ink is grabbing Nightmare's shoulder with one hand while the other is extended behind Nightmare's head. Nightmare is hugging Ink by the waist; his tentacles are out. Two of the tentacles are reaching towards the pair while the other is holding Ink's scarf. They're smiling.

love letter/codenames 10/10 #inkmare #inksans #nightmaresans #comic

Nightmare has a tentacle on his brow, embarrassed yet exasperated. He says, "Why, I thought it was pretty fitting. Because..." He reappears on the second panel, his face obscured except for his crinkled eye and his smile as he stalks closer. He says, "I could eat you right up." Ink appears, smiling as he jolts, his eyelights are twin exclamation marks that are pink and yellow. Tentacles that blend into the frame are reaching out for him.

Nightmare looks down, sweating as both a hand and some of his tentacles remain extended out for Ink, who already melted away into paint. There's a poodle of black paint on the floor. In the background, you can see Nightmare's sad/disappointed face drawn poorly.

Nightmare is looking away, embarrassed and somewhat exasperated. He says, "Yes. It was fairly recent, so I'm not exactly surprised that you forgot about it." Ink is looking at him, smiling with his eyes half-closed. Nightmare continues speaking, the text blurs in the background of the lower panel, where you can see a faceless Ink in the foreground and a faceless Nightmare in the background. He says, "You chose mine, so it was natural for me to choose yours."

Ink is smirking, still blushing lightly as he looks to the side. He lifts an eyebrow as he says, "I think I kind of remember that now... Yours was Moonscape? Moonrise?" Nightmare huffs, he's sweating slightly. He's rolling his eyes while showing the love letter as he says, "Of course you remember it now. Yes, it was Moonrise. You chose Moonrise. So every time you think about writing me one of these... You better remember to call me that way." Ink looks at him for a moment, squinting his eyes with a bemused expression, his color palette is cyan. He sighs, smiling, his color palette is purple. He tilts his head to the side, holding his own hands as he sways to one side to the other. He's smiling, faking a cutesy tone, his color palette is pink. Ink says, "And what was mine, again?

Nightmare snorts. He smiles, opening his mouth to respond before he closes it. He looks to the side and down as he starts sweating and his blush deepens. He looks down as he brings the letter to his face, re-reading the letter. Ink says, out of the screen, "And which one did you choose for me, hmmm?"

Nightmare is covering his face with a tentacle while also using the letter to cover half his face. He's looking away, embarrassed as he says, the letters shaky and unstable, "...Apple tart...". Ink is laughing as he looks at him, mocking, "That's awful."

Ink is reading a paper while Nightmare is looking at him. Ink is blushing and sweating lightly. Ink lifts his head up to look at Nightmare, his eyelights are question marks and one of his eyebrows is lifted. Ink looks down and to the side, smiling

Ink fakes a disappointed/upset reaction, his face is obscured. He says "ah, is this stolen?" Nightmare looks surprised and offended, he says, "Of course not. What kind of person do you think I am?"

Ink seems stubborn on his claim. He says, "Well, the letter doesn't have our names in it." The background of that one panel is a love letter with the text "my heart, my love." Ink continues, saying, "and it's weirdly... descriptive" he looks kind of perplexed. Ink says "Really, who says For I have fallen victim of your charms, it's often the occasion in which..." text is in the background, obscured by Nightmare who seems scandalized

Nightmare is embarrassed, he covers his face with a hand while he reaches for Ink's paper with a tentacle. He says, "We've already talked about this. Codenames. We can't have us getting discovered just because one of our letters got lost". Ink's face is obscured as he fakes confusion. He says, "Uh-huh. So, codenames?"
