Link knew better than to be offended, he knew first how boring the truth was. Hell, he met it. The god was a marvel to be sure. He simply smirked at the answer and her finger to his cheek.

His eyes widened in surprise, a faint burning in his cheeks. The radiant grin faded to a small amused smirk as he chuckled, mirth reflected in his eyes.

"Where would the fun in that be?" Link asked, taking the ice cream with a small impish giggle as if nothing happened.

No, it was actually deeper than that, his thoughts weren't as childish as he led people to believe.

The hero brought finger under his lip as he thought about it. It had just been a natural gravitation that he hadn't given much though to.

That thought aside, he wasn't about to underestimate or downplay someone Dr. Stein was warning him about; Link was naive, he wasn't stupid.

Regardless, he would absolutely try to stay in the safe area.

"Is it possible to... Befriend him?" He asked with a curious tilt of his head. Kishin sounded scary, but it didn't sound any scarier than Majora or Ganon.

The Great Tree leaned to the side in thought, a frown shifting his mouth.

Light shone from under the fresh water pond as a small dark boat with a deep green leaf for sail floated to the surface. It wasn't anything fancy, but it would do.

“Here, this is made from my bark with my leaf for a sail."

Hopefully, Link's curiousity wouldn't get the best of him, no matter what happened. But that wouldn't keep him from following any advice or instructions given.

He nodded at that, it made sense to him. No matter the mutations, be it magic or otherwise, wouldn't change too much. At least, that was what he assumed.

Listening intently, he kept quiet.

The Kishin has him feeling all funny, it makes his face burn. Even if the Fierce Deity wasn't merged with him something still felt odd.

His chest felt tight as the odd wrathful feeling coursed through him.

That's not his emotion...

Taking a breath he sighed, trying to calm down.
