One of my first memories Wilfred Pickles in “Have a go”on the radio. With his payout line “ Give him the money Barney” (Barney Coleham produced the show). When he left to do other projects Wilfred’s wife Mabel took over Barney’s job and the payout line became “Give her the money Mabel”.

Why on earth should she be so obviously in error and so easily discovered to be lying. Someone in England is trying very hard and resorting to some very dirty tricks to undermine the Scottish independence movement.

Scottish social and political sensibilities are more akin to the Nordic countries than to English/American ones.
Closer association to the Nordic nations makes a lot of sense.
