I love Tony Blackburn's 60s show on a Saturday morning for similar reasons. Hearing which terrible schmaltz was number one for 10 weeks, followed by a throwaway pop song, and then Sympathy For The Devil swoops in like a miracle. Hearing to an overfamiliar favourite in context is often a revelation.
