The USA’s bourgeois class has 1) taken advantage of poverty to fuel Christianity’s membership, 2) twisted that Christianity to foment anti-progressive sentiments across the lumpenproletariat, and 3) used the ambiguity of the Bible to convince Christians that the stories of Revelations are coming.

National guards people can be just as if not more reactionary than active duty service members. They feel like they have something to prove and have a short window to play out power fantasies.

It is not possible to serve in the most imperialist military in the contemporary world and not have at least one disability when you ETS.

Whether physically or mentally, the military gets its toll from the person. Maybe that’s a factor in our large veteran homeless population.

When I was taking economics classes in high school and college the flaws of capitalism were never discussed. Sure, we talked about unemployment and supply shortages but always in the most sanitized way possible. There is no thought towards the human suffering of our socioeconomic system.
