10/15/25: "In the past, the [US] Supreme Court has upheld the principle-if a State has used race to determine districts, it must show that it has a COMPELLING REASON to do so.
In 2017 it said: “This Court has long assumed that 1 compelling interest IS compliance w/Voting Rights Act of 1965.”

Meant that of the state’s 6 districts, ONLY 1 is majority Black.
Voting patterns map onto racial patterns in Louisiana, SO means that Black voters canNOT ELECT rep.S of their choice."
