I am not sure what is getting more love in my feed the Checo / Bottas announcement or the Taylor Swift announcement.

What a time to be alive! 😂
Can you elaborate? I am playing around with this idea, but it is not clicking for me.
One of the biggest things that drives me crazy about #SvelteKit is the lack of a single hook to intercept fetch—whether it’s server or client side. Would make life so much easier. #BuildInPublic #SimplyMonitor #Svelte
Cursor’s Infrastructure Stack
New tattoo incoming…
Can you explain more? How does Refund Saver work?
Just finished building the mobile and desktop wireframe layouts in Balsamiq! Excited to start cranking out more wireframes over the next few weeks—first up: the monitors page. #SimplyMonitor #BuildInPublic #Balsamiq
I really like it—super clean and well put together. The only feedback I’d offer is to add a pop of color to the “Send Invoice” CTA button. A warm tone like orange or gold/yellow could complement the blue really nicely and help it stand out.
About 90% done converting SimplyMonitor from SvelteKit to Nuxt—pretty happy with the time it took! Should be back to building new features tomorrow night. #SimplyMonitor #BuildInPublic #Nuxt
I want to intercept requests to inject an app specific header. I also want to intercept the response to globally catch 401s from my API and attempt a token refresh and retry of the request.
To name a few:

- The +page / +server naming conventions make it hard to jump files easily.
- The lack of consistent framework wide hooks. Specifically, I was looking for a singular handleFetch hook that would work server side or client side.
- Devtools
I think that is a reasonable price and a fun idea!

I showed this to my daughter and she loved it. She asked if you could change the colors because she wanted it too look like our black and white cat. Just wanted to share that piece of feedback.
I’ve decided to move from SvelteKit to Nuxt for the SimplyMonitor web app—made the call before I got too far in. I still think Svelte is the superior framework compared to Vue, but SvelteKit has some catching up to do compared to Nuxt and Next. #SimplyMonitor #BuildInPublic
Is Chart.js still the go-to library for charting in web apps? I’ve used it in the past, but curious if anything newer is gaining traction these days. Would love to hear what others are using! #BuildInPublic #SimplyMonitor
You would get a lot of quality backlinks if you allowed the changelog page to be free tier.
I would recommend adding a free tier, maybe with some branding on the Changelog page and a limit of one entry per month. Set “remove branding,” unlimited entries, and email capabilities behind the pay wall.
I just checked out Chage, is that the product you are doing this challenge for?

I was going to sign up, but is there no free tier?
Very interested to see how this plays out.
@peldi.bsky.social Really enjoyed your conversation on The Panel podcast! I was a huge fan of Balsamiq back when it was a desktop app, but haven’t explored the web version yet. I’d love to use it now as I build SimplyMonitor.io and share the journey along the way.

I loved the idea of a cohort or community for #buildinpublic / #startup founders that provides a community with people, sharing their expertise with other builders and the ability to apply for free access to tools that want to give back to the community.

I'm trying to separate webhook events for a single Stripe account.

I have one Stripe account and multiple webhook listeners, each for a different product type.

Has anyone encountered this issue? How do you handle it?

I was thinking 2 free orgs max since everyone gets a default one at signup, and they might also be invited to a free company org. But I agree—don’t solve problems that don’t exist yet. I’ll probably hold off and see how people actually use it. #SimplyMonitor #BuildInPublic
